WARPED TOUR 2009 SF RECAP! part two

Continued from part one ….

Sam and Mia had no clue what was going on. I’m talking to this guy named Travis and the next thing they know is I’m walking away with him saying “I’ll text or call you later or something.”

Travis was really nice. We walked in to the venue and towards their merch tent. There we met the rest of the band and some random girl who does merch for them? I think that’s what she did. Our job was to promote them and to tell people they were playing at 10:10 on the Skull Candy Stage. Doors opened at 10 so they had one of the earliest set times. Saosin played super early too. I ended up with 500 stickers to pass out. Tawni did too, and Libby had to carry around this sign.

After being sent to go promote, I found the Music Saves Lives Tent. I was redeming my MSL voucher so I could get a guess pass for backstage. Which was awesome. Everyone should go and donate blood for one of those. I then went and got free sunglasses from the Vans tent. After that I headed over to the main entrence where I handed out 500 stickers and told everyone to check out Therefor I am on the Skull Candy Stage right now! People were like oh ok, sure I’ll take your stickers cause your giving them out for free. Due to the fact that I was telling people to go watch Therefor I Am, I missed their set, but that was ok.

At this point in time, Sam was not in yet, because she had to get into the will call line, which she was not in before. Mia was somewhere else inside I think.

When I had finished promoting, I then went on my quest to find Todd. So I made my way over to the giant inflatable set time schedual thing to see who was playing and when.
